The Presbyterian Women want to better serve you!
We feel like more Women in the Church could attend this worthwhile
Get-Together if the EVE-ning Circle were held a little earlier.
Beginning in February we are going to try an Early Eve-ning Circle Meeting.
The New Time will be 4:00. We will still Meet in the Women’s Parlor on the
first Thursday of each month AND still enjoy Devotions, Bible Study, Fellowship and Prayer.
PLEASE JOIN US AT THIS NEW TIME.
This is for all Women of the Church. Give it a try. We think you’ll love it!!!
The Presbyterian Women have a blessed purpose: We are forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthen the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witness to the Promise of God’s kingdom.
Through this purpose we mission during the year with visiting our homebound members. We are an arm of our counseling center and have fundraisers to support this worthwhile center. We are thankful to be able to aid women in our community who may have counseling needs.
Presbyterian women celebrate a birthday yearly in May. The Birthday Offering goes to various programs throughout the year with donations going to many projects, worldwide. Some of our Local Missions include:
- Women’ Retreat – It is a joy to better know the Women of the Church and our Community. It is a Blessing to have God’s grace, as we continue to support each other in doing his work.
- In later months we make baskets of candy, toiletries, a warm blanket and socks for our homebound to bring them joy.
- Annually, we have a Tea. Ladies enjoy a light lunch with different teas included. We exchange cookies and there is always entertainment. Admission is a non-perishable food item that goes to our food pantry.
- We meet once a month for a bible study. We encourage this study, it brings wonderful fellowship.
- We hold several Game Days/Card Parties a year. The contributions from this help support the Hampstead Satellite Office of the Presbyterian Counseling Center.Please come, All Women are invited to meet us and fellowship with us as we continue to do God’s work.

LITTLE DRESSES FOR AFRICA
The Women of Topsail Presbyterian Church have been busy sewing for the past six weeks. Many women have sewn over 100 little dresses out of pillow cases (all donated). The dresses were trimmed with ribbons and material. One of the church members made over 30 dresses. This mission project has been very rewarding as the dresses will be shipped out to orphanages in Africa at the end of March.
